But just because faith does not have to be strong or mature, that does not mean it should always be small or weak. Genuine faith may start out small or weak, but it does not stay that way. Saving faith grows and matures. It grows in its knowledge, in its love, in its ability to trust, and in its fruitfulness. We saw this earlier when we showed that faith is not childish but childlike.
